Award Winning Travel Photographer Lola Akinmade shows us the beauty of high kicks!
Kick It Up!
The little bit of South Africa I experienced – its KwaZulu-Natal region – wowed me. From the warmth of its people, the vibrancy and richness of Zulu culture, lush rolling hills of the countryside, the hustle and bustle of city life in Durban, the laid-back surfers hopping off the pier at moyo, and so much more. These photos are from one of my most memorable experiences which was hanging and going behind the scenes with traditional Zulu dancers including attempting high kicks with them.
